Frequently asked questions

Why does AndAssociates.io start with the audit?
Because you can't fix what you haven't measured. The Governance Readiness Audit scores you across six dimensions in about twelve minutes, and everything after it — who we match you with, what the seat covers — comes off that score.
How does appointing a director or advisor work?
You define the seat: what it must cover, whether it carries a vote and fiduciary duty, how often it meets, and the capability profile you want. We hand-match vetted candidates against a five-dimension capability spec, you interview, and the appointment is signed on-platform.
Can I fill several board seats at once?
Yes. A board buildout is a parent search containing individual seats, each with its own capability spec, shortlist and outcome — so a five-seat board is five distinct decisions, not one generic posting.
How does hiring a fractional executive work?
The same rails, one layer down. You post the outcome you need, the hours a week and the timeline. We hand-match vetted operators, you interview on a shared rubric, and contracts, invoicing and pay all happen on the platform.
How are directors, advisors and executives vetted?
Everyone is reviewed by our team before going live: work history, references, evidence of prior outcomes and a live interview. Board candidates also complete a capability assessment and fiduciary disclosures. Only a minority of applicants are approved.
How much does it cost?
The audit is free. Board and advisory seats carry a one-off placement fee raised when the agreement is e-signed, fractional engagements carry a per-cycle platform fee, and Board Management is a separate licence.
How fast can I get someone started?
Median time to a seat shortlist is 48 hours. Most companies interview within a week and appoint or start an engagement within two weeks.
What happens after the appointment?
Board and advisory seats continue into Board Management — meetings, board packs, minutes, resolutions and vesting. Fractional hires continue into onboarding, with 30/60/90-day plans and KPIs that feed the same board pack.
